Video depositions are typically conducted in the presence of a court reporter and the witness, under oath, and subject to certain restrictions. When conducted properly, video depositions taken in the presence of a court reporter can be as effective as live testimony.
Of course, video depositions, allow all the parties to view the demeanor of the witness in a way that cannot be viewed soley in a transcript. Our court reporters work with our videographers to ensure we create high quality video depositions. Our video DVD’s can be fully searchable and synchronized with the transcript.
